The world is suffering through a tragic time. I don't feel like talking about about my own stuff so much this week. More pictures and words to come... very soon. xo

I find women who wear skirts with high hems and long socks so tempting.

hi heather -
sorry I've been so silent - I've (literally) overloaded courses this winter quarter - it's only been two weeks and I'm spending this long weekend sick. Between times, I am really trying to finish up a few projects that didn't quite get done over my winter holiday, so that I'll at least have a few things to post before spring vacations.(Otherwise, it's nothing but books around here for three months at a stretch!)
I'm sorry I missed your painting the other day! To think, I have been checking in on your blog and was visiting that same evening - I must have missed it. I'd love to see it if you ever put it back up. I'm always so curious about what people make - like you, I think you can learn a lot about a person (and their aesthetics, of course) from the things they make with their hands.
I'm sorry to hear that things are difficult for you right now. I totally get where you're coming from. But as this is your blog, I hope you still feel free to use it however you like?
Do take care - I hope things are better for you soon!

To Ian, Sa, and Sarah- Merci beaucoup, mes amis! Thank you so much. I can't believe you guys came out in full force, even when I was feelin all holed up like a pearl in an oyster shell. Awesome.
p.s. Sarah- I'll show you my paintings privately sometime. I haven't seemed to enjoy the way they look in the format of the blog, at least thus far. That'll work better.
Am loving you guys today :)
